Primer Plant Update

I thnought this post was going to expand on the video dropped on Monday.
The primers are coming. Watch the video. Whether they're any good, or go bang when needed is still to be determined. Still looking for the update video from actual load tests.

I call BS AGAIN!

Dealer samples he got from a guy who got ‘em from a guy.

Could be BS, but still looks promising. Anybody can print on some cardboard and put primers inside it, so I won't count my chickens before they hatch, but if they really are under new management, this could be good for all of us.

Will we see them by April, or by the "hinted" end of February? I hope so but I'm not holding my breath.

Promising BS—must be a Commanders fan

and you know I’m joking:)

No, not joking. I quit watching football when they went on strike way back when. In fact, I quit watching any professional sport when they went on strike. Only exception is motorcycle and auto racing. And the only reason that's an exception, is because any time they've refused to race it's due to safety concerns, and limited to a specific track (sometimes two), and not because they went on strike or want more money. PM me if you want to know why, I'm not going to get into that here.

See, now I don’t know if you’re joking or not. They were the Redskins when you lived in Gainesville but Im not allowed to use that word anymore unless referring to historical things.
Ha Ha! They PC’ed!!! welcome to Seattle

Back to the plan at hand…

I will believe Primers when I see it on the shelves. But for now, hammers, blades, garden tools, fishing line and hooks!!! got a feeling about this boys! Project Blue Beam is no Joke!

I quit when they took a knee. Stopped watching auto racing when “my” driver retired. Went to many races on east coast but now don’t even watch on TV. Still like the Yankees though when the Mick is playing.
But I like shooting more than ever.

All the msm outlets call it a conspiracy theory, which almost certainly means its an actual thing.

The only primers I'm interested in right now are made by Behr.

DANG!!! this stuff is expensive! I was expecting maybe $20/gal - it's better than TWICE that! Oh, my aching wallet!
Whenever I visit Home Depot, I check the painting department for "Ooops"/mismatched discounted paint.

Often, you can find 1/5 gallon paint for a fraction of retail price (I got several 5 gallon buckets of exterior/deck paint for around $25-$35 last year) that you can use if color is acceptable enough or certainly work as "primer".

OK, back to OP.

Great idea! Thanks! :)

Mind you, I have no dog in this fight, but last July I bought 5 bricks of Federal Large Pistol off a small manufacturer in North Carolina as he was anticipating commercial products to ship in August. By the end of August he has the same BS runaround that we've all heard, Covid impact, alphabet agency issues, employee training....blah blah blah. For his sake I hope this pans out for him, as he'll see product well before the retailers do. But he's not the "guy who got 'em from a guy" guy. I just reached out to him to see if commercial samples are showing up. If he responds I'll post a comment. At least then I'll be the guy who knows a guy that saw real live not-for-sale packages.

at this point… it’s GREED! more primer plants = no more Vista Monopoly

If you parse his spiel, somewhere around 2:50, what I heard was that some primers were finally produced to mollify anxious investors. That's just my take, may not be so. Somewhere further along as I fast forwarded, he opened a sleeve of primers. I noticed some were face up, some were face down, like the pics I've seen of Servicios and Genix primers. Just saying.
