As you know I've found more hen's teeth than primers. Today an old friend from a neighboring town called to say he had cut back on reloading (he is even older than me) and had a brick of CCI SPPs that he had no use for, ask if I'd give $34.00 for them. I'll be in his town tomorrow and we will both be happy. May even buy a lottery ticket while there.

Lucky!! Awesome friend!!!

I stopped at my local sop and found a brick of Win LR magmun for $39 today. Almost fell over when I saw em. Moreso when they said I could buy the whole brick!

We were in WVa today and I stopped in a gun/survival store. We were there when they opened. I went straight to the reloading shelves and there were two bricks of Federal match magnum pistol primers. I grabbed both and left ten individual packs for the next person. I thought they might limit me to one brick, but they didn’t. $84 and a few cents for both.
They also had a very good selection of powders, most were $29/ lb.
The days of $30/ brick for primers may never come back.

Picked my primers up today, Tom and I exchanged pleasantries through our covid masks and both of us were happy. Nice way to do business.

Great deal, I was lucky to find some Federal 100 small pistol primers today. Limited to 500, cost $37

I've picked up 2,000 Federal SPP primers in the past week for less than $30/1000 and thought I got bent over. Times have really changed.

I think we will feel better about ourselves if we help each other out during times like this instead of charging $100+ to make a profit.

Agreed. I bought 8x100 Federal Match LP’s online from Cabelas for pickup next week or two. Turns out they were mismarked and were LPM’s. I have 2200 LPM’s. Considering a “mag dump” in my 1894 Lever is 8+1, I’m gonna sell them locally. They were $5+ tax and I’ve gotta drive hour round trip. I’ll charge $5. I’m sure it will make someone’s day.

P.S. I used to choose “match” or “benchrest”. Funny how that doesn’t matter now. Although CCI, Remington and even Winchester fit so nice in my drawers.

Any one in the Ohio area have any SPP they would care to sell, but not at a too ungodly price. I just need 1 box/Brick of 1000, thank you in advance.

My previous FFL retired a couple years back. He was a gunsmith too. Mostly did both to have something to do in retirement life. He did a little reloading.

I just traded out his 250 deductible on his truck repair for 8lbs tite group, 4lbs various other powders, 3700 small pistol primers and 1100 large rifle primers. Then gave him 200 for almost 3k 9mm 115gr fmj bullets and a couple hundred new 9mm cases, plus a 5 gallon bucket of once fired brass(seems split even between 223, 45acp, 380,acp and 9mm, with some odd ball stuff mixed in.
