Probably the best 1911 I've ever owned

I'm back in the 1911 game, having plunged into the WW2 antique collecting pit. Remington-Rand, matching slide and frame. Was a Gunbroker win - took the chance on a listing with some darker pictures and was not disappointed, got a very clean gun that was well maintained.

Once you go 1911, you don’t go back!

Same with CZ and AR’s and Revolver and Clay Shotguns and anything 1873 and 10mm

I have a RIA 1911 in 10MM.It has the full rail, and although that changes the balance,it's not a bad thing because the extra weight out front helps off some of the extra recoil. It's super reliable, and the last five shots at 32 yards went into less than an inch and a half.I have a red dot on it,and will be hunting deer with it this fall.
