I have been wanting to do a project shotgun for awhile now and I just don't know where to start at. I have looked at a old ted william model 75 20ga and a stevens 620 the ted william is is in a lot worst shape but it a lot cheaper and really more what I am looking for but I ain't sure I am going to look around before I look into getting one. Just needing advice thanks

what kind of project are you looking to do?

just a simple restoration? something to tinker with? build a competition gun?

i can tell you you should always buy the gun you want, dont settle for the gun you have in front of you at the time....

if you are looking for a cheap gun to tinker with, ide check out some gun shows or pawn shops.

I want to reblue it and refinish the stock. I don't know why but I like the old department store brands but I really like the stevens I have found but I am just looking around ain't decided on anything thanks

Just as a suggestion, I think if you found a Winchester Model 12 in rough shape and brought her back to life would be pretty cool!

A Model 12 would be nice restore. I would like to find a browning a5 but I know I couldn't go anywhere near the price of one. I would love to find another 16ga I have a bolt action and I would love to find a pump.
