Proposed re-naming for the 10 mm Auto...a marketing effort to revive the cartridge...

i think any sturdy, metal framed gun that comes in 40sw should shoot both 357 sig and 10mm.

that said, i wonder what my 40b would be like chambered in either one of the above. :)

10mm would not fit in a 40B. You do realize that 40S&W and 10mm are pretty much the same cartridge, right?

10mm will fit in 45 acp length guns, but not in 9x19 length guns.

i know, it's about 4mm longer. i was talking about if CZ offered the 40b with a barrel chambered for 10mm. only thing is, the magazine won't accomodate the overall length of the 10mm.

well, it has its own case... iirc it's roughly 10x25mm, whereas a 40sw is roughly 10x21mm... the case for a 357 sig is similar too, being 10mm wide until it necks down to a .356 iirc. essentially a .40 cal case propelling a 9mm bullet.

What about....

.40 NATO... it's a lie I know, but it's a white one
.40 Super... ok, it already exist, but not for long, then rename the
.40 S&W just as .40 and the .41 Magnum as .40 Special

The Centimeter or The Cent sound serious though...
