First off thanks for the kind words and "likes" sorry I haven't responded sooner but I been busy.
Ratte
The abutment is a 499 that I drilled and tapped to 7/16x14, but........ it is drilled completely through so the end of the barrel is at the end of the abutment.
The magnet is 1/4" from the end of the barrel, I drilled through the threads to insert it so you could say it has a 1/4" transfer port and that's where the BB ends up when loaded, look close at pict. 2 and you can just barley see a BB in the hole.
The barrel is carbon fiber with a .176 I.D. X .265 O.D. this is an experiment in progress.

I cant say about drilling the struts, maybe colbalt can enlighten us about that subject? (I have thought about making an aluminum one though)
I have polished everything I can think of inside the powerplant, Including the spring inside and out, all the washers and shims, honed the air chamber ect.... Did it help?
I would like to think so, if for no other reason it was a lot of work. LOL
Hope this helps guy's?
