I'll give you a response from someone that owns both. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the P250. It had some initial issues, it is a Sig and they have been worked out. Never a single hiccup with mine, it eats whatever I feed it without complaint. Very accurate, overbuilt and sturdy as hell. I will say that it is not for everyone. The DAO trigger takes some getting used to. The SP2022 is not out of production. It is still available. It is a fine pistol as well. It is a bit larger than a Glock 19 or a P250, It is a bit taller with a much higher bore axis. It is very controlable and utterly reliable, just as the P250 is. Hold them both if possible, fire them both, and see which one YOU like. If you do go with the 250 make sure you get the newer frame style. The older frames are obsolete, and, were the first ones from which all of the initial complaints arose from. The new frames are good to go.
