There was a guy like this in my town. Always gave you the stink-eye when you walked in, treated you like you were a simpleton well below his station, prices were so-so. He's out of business today and no one is surprised.

Also it may just be me and I may just get bashed for this but I think there is a growing group of FFL's that are making car salesmen look good.

Raising prices to meet demand is ok, I guess. Simple economics.

Taking advantage and artificially inflating the market is bad.

However, lying about it, and saying that you barely make a profit makes you a scum bag.

I just love the "get it while you can" approach. Was in Gander Mountain last weekend and just talking to the old guy at the gun counter he said something along the lines of everything in the store would be band in a year. When I just rolled my eyes a little, i guess he say because he called me out on it in front ob about 5-7 people.

I just said, they day they ban Tee shirts well have more problems than a gun can fix.

The couple that were checking out a 1911 handed it back to him and left, as did almost everyone around.
