I can't seem to data for this load anywhere, they list data for plated 124 grains and lead & plated 115 & 147. Does anyone have a source that lists load specs using Ramshot Competition and LRN 124 grain?

I know, use at my own risk. I would like, if you could, please provide a source.

Ramshot load data lists the following - http://www.ramshot.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/WP_LoadSpec_7-2-13.pdf

Although there's load data for 115/147 gr lead bullets but not for 124/125 gr lead RN. If it was me, I would reference the 147 gr lead load data and start at 2.6 gr and test 2.8/3.0/3.2 gr using the longest working OAL.

Wow, not much load data on 9mm 124 gr lead with Ramshot Competition. Lack of popularity may indicate there are better suited powders ... ;)

I did find this information and as usual, Use the following unverified information at your own risk - http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=53517&p=620325
Well, I emailed Ramshot and I got a reply from their ballistics guy. He said:

I strongly recommend that you stick with Silhouette. It’s our best option for SA HG calibers. However, I suggest the following for Competition.

Caliber: 9mmx19P

Barrel length: 4”

Powder: Ramshot – Competition.

Bullet weight: 124 -125 grains.

Start load: 2.8 grains (800 – 900 Ft/p/sec)

Maximum load: 3.3grains (900 – 1000 Ft/p/sec).

I have used the Silhouette with good results in jacketed and plated for the 9's. Haven't tried it with lead yet.

Lee's reloading manual list some of the loads you mentioned for Competition.

My lot of Competition is about .1 Gr faster than my lot of WST. Either will work for light loads in 9MM. They are pretty fast, so go slow and don't push it.

Just thought I'd update folks, 2.6 grains @ 1.145 COL makes a really soft recoiling round that cycles a P226. Also, very little smoke.
