I have a Stanley rolling toolbox. The top detatches from the bottom. I always take the top, but I only take the bottom when I'm taking a bunch of guns and ammo. The top will hold 3 handguns in hard cases and several hundred rounds of ammo. Depending on how much ammo I have, I can fit some hearing protection in it as well. Safety glasses go in the top compartment, clips (yes, I DO mean clips, not mags) and a hex tool go in the little swivel compartment on the bottom. The bottom section has wheels on it and clamps to the top by two latches. Sometimes people give me funny looks when I pull it out of the car and wheel it over, but when I open it up they look like they just had an epiphany Ammo goes in the bottom because it's heavy, other stuff in the top. When I leave, I just dump all my brass in the bottom and sort it out when I get home.
