Thursdays are "range therapy" days, 3pm to 5pm relief from the office at our clubs indoor range. Today is 32 caliber day; a Buckeye 32-20, a Bowen custom OMBH 32-20 and a USFA convertible with the 32-20 cylinder. 150 rounds works out very nicely and home in time for the cocktail hour. Life is good.

.
Outstanding.

I felt pretty good yesterday as I left the local indoor range. It too was a .22 day. I took a new wheelgun; a S&W 351PD aluminum J-frame 7-shot .22 magnum snubbie. Weighs 10.8 oz, unloaded.

To let it cool down some I brought along a Henry H001M and a .22LR Browning 1911-22.

The sights are absolutely useless on the little Browning and the matte black frame notch serving as the rear sight on the S&W isn't much better in the light I had on Lane 1... so imagine my satisfaction when shooting the .22 mag lever in the El Presidente drill I actually had sights I could use. Good times!

Wednesday is indoor .22 range day for me . Last month while setting up my newly purchased Buck Mark with a reflex sight I got an invite to a club just up the road ( not the club I belong to just down the road ) to join some other retired shooters for coffee and therapy . Coffees good but the company is better , schedule is thus , shoot guns , shoot bull , rinse and repeat ! I don't need to use a club range but theirs sure is warmer in winter !

I love preparing for a range visit. Typically four firearms -- two handguns, two long guns, two rimfire, two centerfire. I took off at lunch and went today.

An HK-91 and M1911 for the centerfires, plus a Stevens M71 single-shot .22 rifle and a Uberti 12-shot, single action revolver. I also took along a Miroku 12 gauge O/U because I had never shot it before.

Made for a fun afternoon.

^ Remington XP-100?

Per the wiki, a friend of mine had one and used to use it on prairie dogs.

I need a range day. Snowed in for a week or so. <snif> Poor me. Want to wring out some el-cheapo guns I got for almost nothing a couple of years ago, never shot them. Couldn't resist at the price.

I've got to stay in DC until next Friday ,not even a good knife to play with , but when I get home to my back yard range I am going to need a lot of range therapy to relax from this place

I'm not signing this one so nobody will know who posted it.

Ooooohhhh yeah. Now that's what I'm talking about.

Ain't nothin much funner than a nice, relaxing weekend range session. The cocktail hour is good afterwards too, except beer hour is better! :D!

I am from the school of if there aren't pictures it did not happen. :neener:

Considering that just about every cell phone comes equipped with a fine camera that will take both stills and videos there really isn't a good reason not to shoot a few pictures. We all like pictures. :)
