I bought my RockChucker press in 1978. A couple days ago I was doing something with it (that I probably should not have been doing) and broke the priming arm. I fired off an email asking how much to order and replace the part.
Today, I got the typical response email... part's in the mail, no charge!

I LOVE these guys!

I love that company. Forevermore it will be extremely difficult to not buy an RCBS version of any piece of equipment I may need for reloading.

Yep, I am on the lookout for a 3rd green press. I have a JR2, a rockchucker, and want to try a green turret. I'm also looking for another single to give to my dad.

We are fortunate to be involved in a hobby/obsession where the manufactures back there products so well.

Have to agree with X-Ring and will take it a step further. Most of the gear for our hobby is very well made, good for decades often enough. Then to have it backed up so thoroughly is a bonus. (I've had similar experience with Lee and Ruger.) I'm pleased but not surprised by RCBS's product backing. My RCBS beam scales work perfectly even after 20-plus years. There is so much in our culture that is disposable, I admire and appreciate items that are made to last.

They are an amazing company. I wore out an RS3 I bought in like 1984, and they sent me a brand new RS5 as a replacement since the RS3 has been discontinued. Anyway, the priming arm assembly they sent was for a different model, so I let them know and told them I would ship the wrong assembly back, if they would be kind enough to please send out the correct one. They sent me an e-mail and told me to not worry about, the new assembly is in the mail, so cool of them. Then when the new assembly arrived, it was yet again the wrong one, informed them of it, and they sent yet another one out, this one was the right assembly.

So now I have two brand new primer arm assemblies that go to who knows which press. they don't fit my old Rock Chucker or my RS no number. Oh ya, I also asked them which primer arm assembly I needed for my no number RS, got an e-mail the new assembly was in the mail.

I can't count the number of times they have taken care of me over the last 3+ decades, great company, great CS, and wonderful people. Back in the 80's I would send them a piece of fire formed brass and order my FL resizing die for what ever cartridge I had started reloading for. They would custom cut the dies for that rifle at no additional charge. I don't know if they do that for free any more, but they did it for me a couple times back then.

Then Ruger hooked me up recently with a completely new up graded stock and magazine with metal follower, another great company that fully supports our hobby, and that takes the best of care of it's customers.

I broke a decapping pin recently. When I called, the guy asked how long I'd been using that die and I told him about 30 years. He actually chuckled and said "I think you're due". Sent me a packet of 10 replacement pins at no charge. RCBS is an excellent company to deal with.

Over the years I've gotten a lot of replacement parts from them at no charge, so this was no real surprise: broken decapping rods, O-rings and a handle for the lubrisizer, various things for the Pro-Melt. Each time I offer to pay, and each time it's comped. Makes me happy to have so much green on my bench.
Same is true for the Dillon, which hasn't cost me a dime of maintenance since 1984.
And I promote their products at every given chance because of it.

----> on the firearms side, Ruger's customer service can be mindblowing.

I had a similar problem with a 2 month old Lyman T-Mag II. The priming arm broke, so I contacted Lyman, and they said to send them the broken priming arm at my expense and they would determine if it would be a free replacement or not once they received it from me.

Some warranties are better than others :)

Gotta agree with everyone, I have a 14 yr old pro 2000 with heavy use and a lot of other RCBS reloading tools, when I break something, they won`t take my money, they just ship out the part. RCBS is an outstanding company.

I have to agree with everyone else on how well RCBS takes care of their customers and backs their equipment. They are the company that gets my business for reloading tools and equipment. They have always treated me extremely well and go the extra mile to make things right.
