Recent Gun Purchase

I just bought the Saiga. Paid a little more than I would online (about $20 more than it would have been after shipping and a steep, and I mean steeeeepp, transfer fee, but it's worth it to support my local shop). I got it in 7.62x39, NIB and I am very excited to pick it up next week. No, I don't have a waiting period. I do however always get delayed. Not sure why, but it may have something to do with some close relatives. I'm waiting on a few more financial things to work their way through, but I should be ordering the parts for a conversion in the next week. So happy days!! What have you guys bought recently?

I just got an arsenal SLR 106fr, paid $1000 for everything in the picture. I've thought about getting a saiga in 223 as a project gun, but I'm not sure what I'd do with it, might just pay someone to convert it.

Those SAIGAs look cool, I'd like to here how well they are? I've bought a CZ 452 UL and put a laminate stock and Nikon scope on it.

The build quality, from what I could tell from fondling it briefly at the fun store, is excellent. They had an Arsenal next to it and the finish and quality was basically the same. My only issue is that it was dimpless, but other than that it seems like a great quality weapon. It's my first new gun purchase also, which I am very proud to say. I can't wait to convert it.
