-I can relate to recoil sensitivity. Both my wrists are arthritic. Left one has been immobilized with a bone graft and a steel plate and the right one hurts. I can say that .22LR is your friend. If you need to see larger holes in the target, really light 125gr .38SP loads out of an all steel K frame S&W is almost like shooting ,22.
