Recommended AR-15 Match Triggers?

I don't have any other AR match triggers to compare to, but I have been using RRA 2-stage triggers for local matches and have been very pleased. Seem like a very good trigger for the money.

I've been eyeballing the Spike's NiB Battle Trigger. For $55, it's kinda hard to resist and I happen to like the look of a silver trigger. Not much help I know, but worth checking out IMHO.

I have one and they aren't bad. It has all the creep of a mil-spec, but it is smooth enough you would call it "take-up" instead. I ran it for a while in my primary lower until trying the Wilson Combat. The Spikes will go in my next build though.

I currently have a Spike's lower with the standard parts kit and really don't have any complaints, I'm just always looking to improve things and make them better. With that being said, would you recommend replacing a perfectly good standard Spike's trigger with the Spike's Battle Trigger? I have never fired a rifle with a fancy trigger so I am yet to be spoiled or know what I am missing out on.

I can't say in your situation. My upgrade was over a gritty trigger that could only have been worse if it was made out of plywood. The Spikes battle trigger set was a definite improvement. YMMV. Just don't ever buy one of the fore-mentioned triggers. You will never want to go back to standard.

I have ARs with the following:

Colt Match Target w/ factory match trigger

Bushmaster w/ factory match trigger

JP Entreprises adjustable trigger

RRA two-stage (2)

Stock BM w/ lighter hammer spring--my favorite of all

Wow thanks guys, I'll have to check out the Wilson combat, RRA, Gieselle, Timney, AR Gold, hell all of them! I might go with a light-ish single stage Match. I can maybe see myself with a two stage trigger accidentally disengaging the first stage and screwing up, but then again I don't really know. I'll have to maybe buy the best of both styles and see what I like.
