I thought Sons of Guns was a waste, until I watched "Combat Pawn".

These shows are ridiculous, not even close to entertaining, and paint gun owners as a bunch of wannabee high speed low drag tact-i-cool rednecks.
Ha! I just watched the trailer. Stupid to the max!

They run around a parking lot, looking for "threats"...OMG.

Try American Guns, the other discovery show. Last night a $1200 to $1300 Springfield 1911 trying to be sold to a customer for $3000? Revolvers (old colt style still being made and copied) I have seen sold for $15,000? I don't care if it is hand made (not really, it is done on CNC just like every other gun) it isn't worth that kind of money. I don't get it? Do guns go for 10 to 100 times the price out west? I have never seen that kind of crap. I don't see it, maybe I don't have enough money for a drug addiction that could help me make really stupid decisions with my money.

Red Jacket scares the crap out of me, letting a guy put guns together that is not a certified gunsmith isn't just stupid it could be deadly. I watched an episode were this guy couldn't figure out how to put a piston kit on an AR. It came with instructions, maybe he is illiterate? I would not want camera's on my shop with all the mistakes and guesstimations. It is like watching NASCAR for me, just waiting for a wreck. At least NASCAR takes safety precautions and has trained professionals.

I have. One skanky daughter after the next. It's a joke for sure.

I thought it would be a good show, until i realized that they're just taking AR'a and AK's and Tacticooling them. I thought they were going to build and design new rifles, from scratch. but of course my hopes were destroyed with a swift kick of drama..... wah wah wah, stomp stomp stomp.... I can't even imagine what Ted Nugent thought after he left that shop...

Now that you mentioned the "Combat Pawn", it is a bit overboard. The opening of he shop was horrible. This makes gun owners look like nuts... I would love a quality firearm show, that showed firearm owners in a good light. I know it's scripted, and it's all fake, but remember there are people that believe Pro Wrestling is real....

I think these shows have the potential of influencing ignorant people into thinking they can build guns out of parts they order online or through catalogs.

The possiblity of an accident resulting in injury or death via an exploding gun is ten fold by the bufoonery portrayed on these dumbasstical reality shows. They do a great disservice to gunsmiths, gun owners, the shooting sports and guns.

At least on amercan guns the daughter is good looking....anyone see the 870 the took an made into a HD shotgun 1800 bucks and the guy supplied his own shotgun so the 1800 didnt even include the price of the gun
