With my wife's High Standard Trophy, which is legondarily picky on ammo, it fires the rem/win/federal bulk packs just fine, as long as the are at least copper washed, if not copper plated. She shoots mostly CCI .22 shorts now though.
We also have some very old (60's) winchester (1000 round) bulk that only had lube on lead, no copper wash. In the Hgh Standard it would only take Two shots, then Fail to feed...two more shots,,,fail to feed. Each time you had to get in there and clean that excess lube out. It feeds fine in her Marlin Rifle however, It will take another 40 years to get rid of the rest of that batch if we only shoot it in the rifle...Oh wait, we still have a bunch of grandkids comming up to shooting age.
