remington 700 detachable magazine?

well i just became the proud owner of a remington 700 with and an HS precision police varmint stock....but now i realized i still have about 150 left in my budget since i decided against a McMillan stock
i was considering a magzine conversion either a kwik klip detachable magazine conversion anyone have experience with these....by the way my 700 is chambered in .300 win mag if that makes a difference for this add on...

if this isnt a good choice or if theres another option out there please tell me id like to use a magazine system so i dont have to worry about loose rounds on hunting trips

The conversions that I have seen at www.brownells.com are around $300, and that doesn't include the magazine - about another $100.

$300+????? WOW, that's pricey! I bought a 700 ADL in .270 and it didn't have a magazine already. Picked up a Remington BDL stock for $90 and a Quik Klip Kit for like $35. So, for under $150 the exact same thing was acheived.
