Ruger 10/22 With Hogue Stock - Which Sling

I have a Ruger 10/22 that I want to use for a Appleseed shoot. It has tech sights and a hogue rubberized stock.

I like the Hogue stock the only issue is I don't know how to add the sling which I know is a must for Appleseed.

It has built in sling swivels but I don't know how to match that up with the military surplus sling that I have. (or other slings for that matter)

I believe the sling swivels need to be 1 1/4 inch to fit military slings. I believe there is a hook on one end of the sling that allows you to easily detach it from the swivel. Try googling how to attach a sling. Appleseeds are a bunch of fun. I wish I had gotten tech sights for my 10/22. The standard irons are garbage.
