Recieved a LNIB Ruger P-95 in 9mm today. I have compared it side by side to my Glock 17, CZ-75, Benelli B-76, and Sig P-226.
Overall, the P-95 looks really good. The fit is very good, the finish is very good, and the SA trigger pull is really good out of the box, a little creep, but not at all heavy. I have never thought much of the P series DA trigger pulls and this one is no different, it stacks at the end of the pull.
I look forward to having an informal shoot out between these pistols in the future.
I also noticed that the bullet feeding looks a lot like my former Beretta 92, i.e., a straight line into the chamber throat. Looks as though the nose of the bullet doesn't contact the feed ramp little, if at all. I can see how the P-95 should eat anything.
