Rust prevention

after i clean and dry my remington i put a coat of rem oil on it. i don't know if it is a petroleum based oil or not but i ain't seen no rust yet. which would be better olive oil or break free.

When cleaning my bp revolves i use normal soap and water. then when i am done i do coat them with gun oil heavily till they all shine with oil and metal then before i go to use them i wipe them down with alcohal. and do the same in the barrel and chambers. Jack Daniels is what i use in the cylinders. with a qtip. then shoot just caps out of the gun when i go to the range and its all good to go
