S&B Pistol primers any good?

I have the lee 3 die carbide set. again I let the people at the reloading shop tell me I needed something and I didn't. grrr.

I've loaded about 20,000 9mm with the lee 3-die set. Works great. I use the FCD on .40 and .45 just because I have it, but if you set up the third die properly you don't need it.

S&B Pistol primers any good?

In a word - Yes.

Longer explanation - When Cabela's had 'em on sale for 18.99 & 21.99 I bought 4 types
Small Pistol, Large Pistol, Small Rifle & Large Rifle.

I've probably shot 500 or so.
No duds, & I haven't noticed any difference from them as opposed to CCI, Remington, Winchester, etc.


They seem better than Tula.
The Tula primers were a hair bigger & seated much harder than the other brands.
Plus I had a few duds - not many just 1-2%, but still, it was annoying
Not so with S&B.

I'm glad I stocked up.

I hope all of you have the same experience.
