S&W Compact Over Travel stop

I just installed the Apex sear along with the USB thing. Trigger feels better but it still has over travel.

I'm interested in any mods shooters have made to deal with that. I know, it is a combat pistol but I hate over travel.

The sear smooths out the pull not take up, you need a few more parts to fix the takeup.

You can make a trigger stop by gluing a piece of stiff rubber such as a piece of tire, pencil eraser, or rubber chair leg pad, etc. to the frame inside the trigger guard behind the trigger.

Then slowly file or Dremel the rubber down until the trigger breaks just as it contacts the trigger stop.

I did this to my Kel-Tec P3AT over five years ago - still working great!
