Does anyone have any experience with a S & W model 1076 (stainless/10mm)? A local shop has one for $425.00, it looks to be about 95%. I've already got 2 Glock 10s and thought I might add another 10 to the collection. Any comments, (pro or con) and how available are mags? Thanks.

I'm willing to bet you could make money on that one. I put 20 rds thru one long ago when they first came out and you knew you were shooting a firearm. No problems but it was only a couple of rounds.

My Springfield is a great shooter and fits my hand better than the 1076 but I would buy it anyway.

I wasn't looking to buy it to resell, just a shooter. Trying to see if they were a known piece of junk or a worthwhile buy and how tough it would be to get extra mags.

I didn't mean for a quick buck, I meant if you bought it and decided that you didn't like it you shouldn't have a problem with moving it. Odds are not good on finding a rental so you gotta flip the money first or ask questions.

Pro-You'll fall in love with how it performs.

Cons- Your Glocks might go up for sale soon.

I've had 2 of them and love them-kept one and made money on the other. If you pass on it send me a PM on the shop info.. TIA...

For that price, grab it! The 10xx guns have been steadily increasing in cost the last few years. I paid $525 for my LNIB 1006 in 2004. I have not seen one in similar condition for under $800 lately.

I WANT IT!!!!!!!! Glad its not in a shop around me or I would have $425 less in my bank account right now. haha. Good luck with it!
