It is a cold, snowy day here in the NE states. If you look thru the TV channels for something to watch, well, good luck. All these reality shows of pure garbage. I mean garbage.
With that being said, why can't someone come up with a TV series based on actual SD stories. Something like the stories we read in the monthly magazine from the NRA. They can be recreations of the actual event with some background into the people involved and their lives up to the incident. We always read about the grannys taking out the intruder, the guy who saved the liquor store owner, etc.
If done right, these stories can tell the real stories about the good side of gun ownership. It can be sponsored by the NRA and have ads from the gunmakers like S&W, Ruger, Kimber, Kahr, etc. Of course, the Henry ads will also be there. It can show that guns do have a real purpose. I keep reading that there are over a million successful SD occurances each year. How hard would it be for 2 or 3 of them to be showcased each week on a weekly show?
I would find it fascinating and I can state as fact that it would be more interesting than a Honey Boo Boo or keeping up with the Garbagshians. Real life stories with happy endings are what used to make TV shows popular.
