He also buys tons of parts. Sideplate screws, barrels, lanyard rings. That's so his friend can take out the worn or broken parts and replace them with non-orginal ones.

I would say they're connected. That's probably his firearm restorer. He has a lot of "Nazi Memorabilia". Course, he can't prove a nazi actually had the thing. Yesterday, he had 34 active auctions. Today, only about 20. i doubt very much that 14 of his items sold in 24 hours. Looks like he might be trying to lay low.

If this weren't such a civilized forum I would tell you how I really feel not that you made an implication I could possible be the seller. For some reason this seems personal to you. What's wrong, did you buy a gun from this guy and now you feel stupid for getting taken? (not calling names, just describing a feeling) Deal with it and move on, you paid too much!

The seller made it personal when he took to emailing me after I told him I was no longer interested in the gun. And the reason it's gone 4 pages is because the topic has seemed to generate a lively discussion, most of it agreeing with me. Guess I'm not the only one who got their blood up over this guy. You've posted three times on this topic. First time to tell me that the thread was usless because I didn't include the guy's name. Nobody else had a problem finding the name. Second time was to concur with Rick about rabid postal inspectors. Third time was to tell me this post has gone on too long. If you don't have anything to add, don't get involved.
I've never bought a thing from this guy. I emailed him once in April about his "new in box" 64 that wasn't really new in box. Again about the 65. Was willing to overpay just cause i want a 3 inch .357. Just didn't like being insulted by some guy who's ripping people off. I knew he was misrepresenting the items. Most buyers don't. You never know who you're gonna piss off. His insulting emails stopped when he found out I am a retired cop with FBI friends and I was considering notifying the ATF of his illegal activities. Shut him right up, actually.

Your name is very similar. Easy for me to wonder if their is a connection. Arch Angel and Dark Angel. And I said "IF you weren't in a different state, I'd think you were the same guy". You include a laughing face icon while telling me I paid too much. You support this guy. I'm still not convinced you're not connected. either way, you felt I insulted you and you began a dialogue with me. No different than me and this seller, is it? Either way, you could have PM'ed me if you felt your feeling wouldn't be welcome on a public forum.
Since this post began, I've been watching this guy and doing some digging. He's hooked up with a gun restorer who makes his used guns look new, he sells them as new, and he doesn't have an FFL to do it. I figured a heads up to the rest of us was in order. I've never bought a thing from him and never will. I took an old 686 and made it look like one of his guns using a Scotchbrite and Mother's Mag. If I want a super shiney gun, I can do it myself without lining the pockets of some shyster.
Update: He now only has 5 guns listed. Two days ago he had 34. He's been reducing them everyday. Looks like he's out of business for now.

You are acting terribly and a little childish so I wouldn't advertise you are a retired police officer. You are giving good level headed police officers a bad name.
This is the second time you implied I'm connected with someone you consider involved with illegal activity. That Sir is slanderous and I do take offense to it! Since we both live in NE PA why don't we make arrangements to meet so you can say those thing to me in person. Guys like you are fast to throw around crap from the safety of their computer screen but will rarely do it in person. Just because I don't totally agree with what you're saying doesn't mean I'm involved in illegal activity. When you were on active duty did you treat everyone like they are guilty of something just because you disagree with them? If you did it's a good thing you are now retired!

I wondered at the coincidence between the two names. I said IF you weren't in PA, I would think you're the same person. You're not in Fl. I wondered if there still a CONNECTION between the two of you. Could be anything. The Dark Angel name might refer to a music band or video game that you both like for all I know. You're NOT the guy. I get it. But you sure seem to sympathize with him. No doubt he's been scamming people. Either way, you're calling ME childish when you call me out to meet for a fight? Are you kidding? Move along.
As for treating him like he's guilty, HE IS! No doubt about it. He has no FFL. That's a fact. He was selling DOZENS of guns. Another fact. That is ILLEGAL. Fact. He is affiliated with a gun restorer. Fact. S&W revolvers don't ship with that shiney finish, and they don't come with no-name faux wooden grips. Fact. He was billing guns as "100% factory finish" and "new in box" when they weren't. Fact. He's since pulled 95% of his auctions when all this was pointed out to him. Fact. An innocent man who had nothing to fear wouldn't do that.
Nothing wrong with a citizen of the US making a call to the appropriate law enforcement agency if he sees a felony being committed. My status as a retired cop would certainly give me a bit more credibility with them. Either way, I didn't make the call. He's out of business for now. That's enough for me. And if you take offense at the suggestion that you are connected with this guy enough to post here, imagine how riled up you'd be if I took to emailing you insulting your ability to pay for my product. This guy made this happen. I'm glad he's shut down. He brought it on himself.
