Semi-auto fan ???

Am I the only one who just loves semi-auto rifles ??? I find levers, bolts, pumps, falling blocks and other action types kinda boring. I guess my semi-auto Glenfield Marlin .22lr rifle ruined me as a child..........

I find that bolts have their place, but i like semis a LOT more. More fun to shoot, and there are pratically no downsides.

Semi-auto for me too. Why do the work when the rifle can do it for you?

I agree--A properly set up semi-auto can do just about anything you ask of it.

I to have been pretty much semi only although I just added a bolt gun for some long range work.

I like semi-auto rifles, but I really like some milsurp bolt guns too. Specifically WWII rifles.

Semi-auto rifles have a huge downside. Cleaning and oiling.

I like semiautos fine, and shoot them pretty often, but I like my Marlin 39 better than my 60.

That said, when you're shooting to hit something, you don't notice the action all that much. It's hardly different at all, when you're trying to hit a bullseye at 300 yards, whether you have a bolt gun or an AR.

EXPVIDEO Same here really prefer the semi auto's battle rifles (Qty 6) but like to collect and shoot Mil Surp rifles as well (Qty 7). Although for the money, accuracy and cost effectivness of the modern bolt action rilfe -it's hard to beat (Qty 1)!

Bolts can be fun too, but my favorite guns are semi-autos.

I love and prefer semis but a good bolt gun is as fun and usually a little cheaper. I think cold shots on a bolt gun at unknown ranges is pretty fun. I do like making cans dance with my 22 whenever I go shooting though.

i have owned bolt guns, but i always come back to semi autos, i only have 2 rifles and they are an ak, and an ar. I will get a precision bolt gun eventually just because i think everyone should have one but other than that, i will take the EBR's any day.

I like semi's but there is just something about a clunky milsurp bolt action. It feels ackward cycling it dry (91/30, T53, M95) but when firing the bolt feels silky smooth.
