Firefly is just one of many promising programs they started only to kill. I wonder why they even bother to have some of their shows? I know there's a reality show of some kind (I'm not up on reality shows) that they killed in mid-stream this season that has several people ticked off.

Finally got around to renting/viewing Serenity the other day......OMG! Fantastic, had to watch three times, loved the firefights!

I recently discovered Serenity and started watching the Firefly episodes on DVD as well. For being such a low budget production, the movie and series are wayyyyy better than they should be.

Well there's always hope. Didn't they kill off Family Guy and bring the show back later because of a huge fan base? I know there are at least a few episodes that make jabs at the network for pulling the show in the past.

Yes they did. I also heard they are bringing back Futurama. So maybe there is hope.

What happened is they released the first DVD box set. It sold out very quickly. So they did another pressing. It sold out very quickly. They did a third pressing. It sold out very quickly. Someone woke up and said "Oh. Maybe we should check into this."

I feel guilty about liking Dark Angel, in part because Max avoided guns. I guess she had a good excuse, though, and no one else from Manticore had an aversion to guns.
