Sheeple? Maybe just plain common sense

Is the following a correct summary of your position?

You are worried about the dangerous mishandling of firearms around you. Sometimes you wonder why such people have firearms, and do not feel comfortable around them. Since you see so many people mishandle firearms, perhaps it would be best if nobody had them because you have not seen anybody handle them in a way that would make you comfortable.

That's pretty close.

I have seen more people properly handle guns than I have actually seen mishandle guns.
The point being, it only takes one person mishandling a gun to kill me, on purpose or otherwise.

Same thing goes for a car on the road, but being that this is a gun forum, it made more sense to talk about gun owners.

That's my point. A simple point, but important to me personally.

Yes, I have been around people that have swept me with muzzles, pointed guns directly at me, had ND's right beside me and in the same vicinity, and common sense tells me that that is extremely dangerous. Most of these people were not doing these things on purpose, but because it is a gun in their hand, instead of say, a pen, it's pretty dangerous for me.

Because I can't use my magic powers and see which people won't be mishandling a gun or making a dangerous mistake, common sense again tellls me that staying away from people with guns is the safe course of action.

I am sure I am not. And I am glad you had the courage to admit that you have no spine if some random guy on the range, acting dangerously, frightens you enough that you would rather leave than correct him or at that very least alert that range officer

This is probably where I am supposed to offer to meet up with you IRL or some such, so we can see who has more spine, but unless you live here in Texas or are traveling through here, what would be the point?
Sides, you might bring your gun with you, and to tell the truth, I don't like being around people with guns.

Gee, Mike, if ignorant people with guns are so dangerous, perhaps you should get certified as an instructor and teach people basic gun handling skills instead of belittling them on the internet.

Besides, for a guy who sells so many guns your attitude comes off as, well, hypocritical.

This thread is over.
