The way I look at it is, as sad as it is for some to be past their shootin' prime, it gladdens my heart to see them willing to pass on their shootin' irons as well as their expertise & good wishes....I'm just gettin' intrested in this here BP thang...I'm hearing all this stuff bout gittin ridda BP revolvers....saddens one's heart...it does.
Instead of sitting on their guns and, truth be told, leaving them for family who may not appreciate them to deal with, they offer them up here and there to enthusiastic young' uns like us! (I'm about to be 59 )
I'm not looking for anything at present (though another one just found me today). Just wanted to show some appreciation for the generosity exhibited by @ThomasT and others.
This is what keeps a tradition alive. Thank you, gents.
