Why sig doesnt try to market the sig 2022 pro series being that its the only polymer gun theyve had any success with but you barely even see them around i had to go on gunbroker to find one youd think in the days they would at least try sell them more considering the fact that glock and s& to is outselling them all.

But sig should know when u sell a quality pistol for under $500 and add the name sig sauer on the front its gonna selll like hot cakes.

And Top Gun Supply is out of most of the P220's, P226's, etc. Demand is high for all things guns, not just SIG's and not just the SP2022.

The SP2022 won a substantial law enforcement contract overseas that also ate up a lot of available production. It's possible they don't make as high a profit off of it, either, especially given that it would compete with the P229 and P226 for law enforcement sales.

It's too bad, really, as it is supposed to be one of the better SIGs.

And if im not mistaken it was the french police contract in for 250,000 guns plus mags and spare parts so basically every cop in France carries the sig not matter there rank

Definitely one of the best bang for buck your gonna find in the world as these go for under $400 sometimes with lasers and such. Some reason sig decided to push the p250 hard over here in the US and put the 2022 on the back burner. I would like to see a 2022 in 45acp this year over the striker fired p320. The ability to change frame sizes with the purchase of one gun was a brilliant idea but some reason has not boosted the p250 to stardom. From my understanding the p320 is the same concept. After owning a p229 the 2022 just doesn't feel right to me. I can't really even explain why, just doesn't feel and point the same. However like stated if sig makes a 45 2022 for the new year I might have to get one.

I have no idea why they don't. It is one of the most underrated guns out there, especially for the price. The Stoeger Cougar is in the same boat

The SIG P250 (Gen 2) would be as well, but people seem to think they have to have a super short single action or striker fired trigger to have a quality self defense gun. After spending a little time learning the trigger, the P250 runs circles around most other poly guns I've shot and/or owned

I have an SP 2022 in 9mm and it is a very fine shooting pistol, excellent accuracy and the trigger is stock and is smooth as silk. I bought it a couple of years ago lightly used at a pawn shop for under $400. I use it as one of my CCW weapons and for good reason, it is not a compact but not really a full size in my opinion and easy to conceal. I wish I could find one in 40S&W for the same price, I`d buy it in a second!!!

The worst thing about the SIG SP2022 is how the price has jumped from $350 to $500 in the last 2 years.

They're not around because the word is out on what a steal they are.

When I bought mine last year, both of our LGS that I frequent had plenty of them. One was $589 and one was $399. Guess which one I bought? :)

Mine is .40 by the way, and I couldn't be happier.

Sig makes profit off everything they make, believe it.

The way that SIG holds down the cost of the 2022 is not offering it in a variety configurations. All the R&D cost were covered when they won the French contract
