Sig mosquito

Looking for a 22lr semo-auto that will cycle MOST 22lr ammo out there. Have recently looked at the Ruger SR22 and Walther P22. Have also seen and shot the S&W M&P 22. I liked the Sig but was very unhappy with its FTF & FTE. Has this gun had any mods(factory) to settle these firing issues, or it is still the most expensive 22LR pistol out there to shoot. Shooting a 22 should be all about fun/field practice, plink'n and target shooting. The last thing one should worry about while shooting a 22 is economics. Not too many people have a big enough budget to blast through a brick or two of CCI mini mags, seemingly the only ammo this Sig likes. Any ideas on other 22lr semi-autos that fire just about any round? Thanks for any help offered.

Ruger SR22 is supposed to work well with anything.
One of the advertised features if you can believe them.

I would take the Ruger over the Sig or the Walther.

Just to much reported issues around those cheap cast slides .

I had a SIG. It had issues.

I have two Ruger SR22 that I have put thousands of rounds through (backyard range)

The SR22 is the best gun of it's kind I have ever seen.

I own the sig, have had a fair amount of experience with the Walther and Ruger having had students bring them to class. Currently I would go with the Ruger SR22 handsdown. the Sig and Walther both have continuing issues yet the Rugers have run anything we loaded without a problem. (The fact that Ruger built it's company on .22 pistols might have something to do with it)

I've got a Mosquito, it shoots and runs well with Mini-Mag. I wanted the Ruger Lite when I bought it, talk about sweet.

Heres a shot of my Mosquito w/AIM laser. Purchased in 2011, I have had no issues with CCI Mini-Mags, Remington "Stingers", or Winchester Ammo.
Based on info from this board, I run the pistol wet and keep it clean.
I DID have a problem with the magazine furnished with my Mosquito. I had to deal with an idiot :banghead: at Sig customer service to get the problem resolved..
