Hello Morgo, I have had my 9MM X-5 Allround for several years now. I intentionally bought the Allround because I figured some of the parts would be interchangable with regular P226 parts. Mine is accurate and has been totally reliable with any and all ammo I have ever tried. I have replaced the decocker and slide stop with the standard non-extended type. I am also using the short trigger in mine.
I'm a SIG armorer, but SIG would not initially sell ne the SRT parts. I sent my X-5 to SIG and had the SRT parts installed.
Now the extractor issue. Mine has chipped two extractors. After the second one chipped at the bottom edge, I beveled and polished that edge as we would do on a 1911 extractor. I'm a Colt armorer too, and beveling and polishing the X-5 extractor seemed like a logical and simple thing to try. It worked. Reliability has remained 100% and no more chipped extractors. I still enjoy shooting my Allround. I believe it is the softest recoiling 9MM i have ever fired, even with NATO, +P and +P+ type ammo...
