ok..so me and afew friends were on the range last night and we were just shooting my taurus pt-92 and one of them noticed that a screw hit them in the foot...so I looked at my gun and it came off from my grip...

this is the second time this has happened and its REALLY annoying.
I need to know if they sell my gold screws and bushings for my gun anywhere because I tried a few local shops and some do not even sell grips :(

the screws are the same color as this one here
(i have a slightly different gun thou)

Oh also I have tried e-gunparts.com the first time this has happened and since then they have not sold any of the screws that I need, so that is out of the question...

Well any input if greatly appreciated...

Thanks guys..

Call Taurus and they will send you new screws and bushings. I've always seen Taurus using black screws and if that's all they have they'll send you 4. Loctite the bushings when you install them and your problem will go away.

Call Taurus & tell them what happened & when you install the new one, a dab of loctite should do the trick.

well I called taurus and they told me to try in a week or 2 because they dont have any golden screws.
so I will be ordering the screws and the bushing and I will take your guys' advice...

by the way has anyone ever had this problem?
(when you go shooting a screw comes off from your grip)
??

Thanks...

I had the screw holding the thumb piece on my Taurus 85 come loose. I didn't have any Loc-tite handy, so I used thread tape. That works just as well.
