Young friend of mine has been looking for an AR at a reasonable price for some time now. Last week, he noticed a truck unloading @ his local Wal-Mart (Georgia) and drove up to the guys unloading the truck.
Friend says, "are there any AR-15 rifles in that shipment?" "Yep," was the reply, "there are a few."
Friend says, "well, one of them is supposed to have my name on it." Truck unloader says, "well, we'll just put your name on this one I'm unloading right now," and the guy wrote my friend's name on the box.
Friend drives around to front of Wal-Mart and goes immediately to Sporting Goods. There's a long line of people waiting to see if there are any ARs or ammo being unloaded. Friend goes up to the counter, and tells the clerk that there's supposed to be an AR in the back with his name on it that was being held for him.
You guessed it! Clerk goes into back area and comes out with box with my friend's name on it. Friend got a Windham for $780! Now folks, that's a strategy!
