The gun is easy to put back together if you read the manual.

I know this is true, because I've done it.

I know this is true because I've seen people posting about how this or that hint makes assembly easy--and they're INVARIABLY hints that are IN THE MANUAL!

Read the manual. If you don't have a manual, download one from the link I posted above. If you're on dialup, call Ruger and they'll send you one for free.

If you're in my area and you have a MkII or a 22/45 that you can't put back together, pm me and we'll try to work a deal. I could use another couple of these pistols. (THIS IS A SERIOUS OFFER.)

I have one that I installed this on. One bolt removed......it's disassembled. One bolt tightened....it's assembled.

it gets easier the more you do it

The parts go together easier when they have been dis and re assembled a few times.

Once you get it, take it apart and put it together enough times to memorize it and you are free for life.

Once you understand, it is amazing how easy it really is.
