Just curious, maker and site seems to have fizzled out.

Justifiably non-legal, but, a cool item none-the-less. May be legal in some states, with CCW.

My consfuser, I mean computer, is denying my access to the site, http://beltsword.com/., by telling me this:

"The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log."

Works on my end. Try a different browser.

Edit - after clicking through a few pages I encountered the same error you did...

I'm guessing that the inventor gave up and closed-up shop.

Interesting and amusing, but I doubt there were many buyers of a belt sword.

Kind of a shame actually, if the owner ever sees this post, and is thinking about starting-up again, I have a one word marketing angle for increasing sales... "ZOMBIES"

Every drop down menu works for me except "Purchase". The owner seems to have spent a lot of money on a very highend-looking website. I would think that if he were out of business he would no longer be paying to host the site. There is a contact page with his info so if you are interested in finding out more you could try contacting him (Curtis Koehler)

I checked his site. He has abandoned it. Even his telephone number shows as "available".

Perhaps he still checks his email, and may even have unsold inventory if you can reach him, but I think he has given up on this venture.

Maybe all his customers are in jail pending a "carrying a concealed weapons" court appearance??

RazorRazor is alive and well! Years back I met some really nice folks from you forum. In fact I visited several of you members to test the BeltSword. Since then we have been called upon to design 6"-9" totally concealable dagger for drug enforcement.

Our last two orders were from...
1. The head of the FBI's Defensive Tactics
2. International counter terrorism group.

I have include an article below - if anyone in law enforcement or military is looking for new designs - let up know - we may take you up on your challenge.

Very respectfully, Curtis W. Koehler

COVERT TOOLS for FORCE PROTECTION - Part 1 - 2013

By Aaron Cunningham – Counter-Terrorism Expert - www.ittacorp.org

This article seeks to display the contemporary innovations of Curtis W. Koehler from the RazorRazor Company; whose tools are in the tradition of covert weapons. He began his quest to improve survivability with edged weapons and concealment systems in 1998. This journey has led him to study metallurgy and to experiment endlessly, in a long period of trial and error, which led to a range of rapidly deployable and highly concealed knives and swords from behind the worn belt.

He has received considerable attention and inside acclaim from within elite US Law Enforcement units and the military SOF community. These unique tools are filling an important niche and are carried by career practitioners here in the US and in hostile environments overseas.

The daggers and sheathing systems created and advanced by Koehler originally came at the calling of an elite narcotics unit conducting regular undercover operations. The current product was developed with specific input and guidance from that Narcotics Bureau. His concealed belt sword system has spent time in Afghanistan where it has been worn operationally by SOF members up to 18 hours a day. He has received kudos for his efforts from now retired US FBI Special Agent Robert Taubert who was instrumental in the development of HRT and acted as agency liaison for many US Special Operations units.

The knife systems advanced by Curtis meets the zero compromise criteria imposed by covert operations and meets professional standards for time critical deployment under emergency conditions. This system will reliably enable sub-second deployment of a knife under stress.

Aaron Cunningham is the acting President of the International Tactical Training Association and a lifetime practitioner and noted instructor of edged weapon tactics and training. ITTA conducts international training – counter terrorism measures. Mr. Curtis W. Koehler may be contacted at [email protected]. (414) 303-3000
