Didn't know where to post this so mods do whatever. A LOT of folks have complained for quite a while about the paper permits that need to be laminated (that continually fall apart) in Virginia. I previously lived in Hanover County and got the standard paper issued card. First time I've had to renew in Dinwiddie County and they send me this pretty hard card in color just like a DL (sans photo). Many other counties are still issuing paper. I was also pleasantly surprised that it took 1 week and 1 day to receive it since I reaplied in person. This may not sound like a big deal to some folks who have been getting hard copies forever or who have constitutional carry, but for us folks that have had to deal with paper its a blessing. Anyone else in VA that is getting issued a hard copy post and let us know about it.
