So I am starting to run a little low on 9mm bullets. My favorite bullet is the Speer 9mm 124 gr. TMJ (Speer part number 3993), as that is what I have been loading for a few years now with good results. Not surprisingly, all the retailers that usually stock them are out. Has anyone seen these in stock recently?

I haven’t seen any either. I like to have several bullet/powder combinations so when one supply dries up another can be used. Good luck.

I'm a big 124grn FMJ user... I just got a box of RMR's, they load and perform just like the Speers, in fact, I don't think I even had to adjust for OAL.

Thanks. OAL was my concern. Those 9mm cases do not have a lot of extra room in them with 4.2 grains of Bullseye.

I've ordered from RMR many times in the past and don't have an issue waiting a month or two for the bullets to arrive. I have plenty of .38 Special and .357 Magnums to load in the meantime.

Heads up: Optics Planet has seven 600-count boxes of these left for $92 apiece. I ordered two this morning. They should be here in ten to twelve...years. :D

For that price you could have had 1000 from Rocky Mntn Reloading, in place of 600.

Possibly like you, I can't risk loading bullets with exposed lead on the base. I find that RMR's 124gr JHP satisfies my accuracy and health needs at an excellent price point.

It's not the end of the world to have the exposed lead, but if I have the opportunity not to have it, I usually take it.

X-treme has a Christmas sale on now, had some 9 mm plated bullets in the ad...I like 'em, I still have plenty of their 9's and .45's on hand.

(Watch out for the X-treme, if you don't get the address correct, you get an Over 50 dating site...)

I have used a lot of RMR in recent years, as well as Everglades, just bought 500 115 gr RNCP from the latter, didn't have to wait long. I only punch paper for fun.

Just checked the Everglade site, for 1000 of the cheapo 115 gr RNCP $109 with free shipping. I haven't ever evaluated them for accuracy, good for plinking for sure.
