See! See! Council on Foreign Relations at work. Part of the master plan.

Then there is the Trilateral Commission or how 'bout the Bilderburger's.

They're everywhere.

<Doffs the tinfoil hat>

Reality? Ain't gonna happen because it will require the ruling class to give up too much tax revenue. Ain't gonna happen, no way, no how. If anything we risk going to war because of a shortage of wealth (another thread).

moa summed it up. The impetus to assimilate is lacking, aided and
abetted by immigrant-rights groups and non-immigrant elites. Today
the thrust is toward acceptance and accommodation, all of it justified
by waving the black flag of Diversity at every turn. The other factor
is the welfare state, which not only facilitates unchecked illegal
immigration, it actively encourages it. After all, the "needy" are
now to be viewed as "consumers;" never mind who's paying.

My own belief is that the process is too far along to change on a
universal scale. Too many people on the dole, too many who have been
indoctrinated with the wrong ideas. Could there be another "War of
Secession?" Don't bet against one.

I see that Bush is back making nice with Fox (L.A. Times, this morning).
To Bush it's all about labor supply and demand. Really? That's all.
This can only get worse before it gets better when both Republican and
Democratic leaders don't have, or don't want to have, a clue. I guess
tens of millions of Americans who are on the airwaves demanding a change
in our immigration policies are just plain crazy. We'll see. Frankly,
I think the run-up to the '04 Election will be depressing but will see
the first glimmerings of the "restorative" right-wing party that many
Americans are looking forward to.
