Nice - I've been looking at them here in SE WA/LewistonID
in the SG stores for $680 - I'm waiting on selling
selling a handgun to get a CMD.

I just bought a sw1911sc that I chose over the Ruger because of the bobbed grip. Had that not been a must have feature I probably would have gone Ruger. Of course I paid almost double to get it :)

Very nice the cheapest I have seen is $660 plus tax. I have the full size version and really like it although it only likes fmj bullets.

Look at gunwatcher have seen them for 600, Sportsmans warehouse had them for 599 last week. Also look on Slickguns and GrabaGun.

I live mine! You will be happy with it, and you got it for a good price!
I just saw them at sportsmans warehouse or wholesale sports (whatever they are going by nowadays) for $599.

I really wanted a Dan Wesson CBOB but couldn't afford one... So I tried my best to turn my CMD into one.

Must be a machinist... That's no dremel job.

Thanks. And yes I'm a machinist.

Also cleaned up the grip safety

Next is a Harrison ignition set with a TR sear, clean up the grip safety/frame fit, also clean up the slide/frame/extractor overhang. Possibly a high power cut... Things are slow at the shop thru the winter so I have to find something to keep busy.

As I mentioned I would not hesitate giving Nick a pistol to Bob, should h ever decide to do this as a side line. If that was his first attempt, it will only get better from here on, although you really can't improve on a job like that.

I just got one of these LNIB with a fantastic trigger for $579.00

Nice score on the Ruger. When Ruger first released the news about the SR's I hunted high and low for one only to discover that they probably only made three of them in the first year. Now that they are readily available I need to work up the fun chips to put one in the collection.
