I was participating in my nth thread defending my chosen brand and another poster referred to the CZ fanboys. As in don't trouble them with the facts they'll never learn. I realized that I was acting a little defensive, and I'm looking for my new pistol so I'll try something new.
I'm looking at a SIG 226 KB that a local guy has with a parkerized slide and one mag at a little under $400. Are there any other high cap, steel or alloy frame, DA/SA pistols out there that are comparable in cost (maybe up to about $550?) I'm only interested in 9mm or .45.
As always I appreciate everyone's input. I am not starting a new fight. If there's a general consensus that I might find a pistol as pleasing to shoot as my CZs with these parameters in mind I'm willing to try it.
If any of you are looking to go the other way and see what CZ is all about. I've got a 75B LNIB with about 100 down the pipe that I might trade.
I've been down the S&W semi-auto road and I'm not going back so they are out; and I think the Ruger P?? series of pistols is basically the next best thing to shooting a brick.
