Yeah, my buddy in Georgia wanted a 226 straight, but all anyone had in stock at that time was the rail model.
I think it's ugly but he got used to it.

I have never understood why someone would want the SA only version of the CZ75. The trigger is one of the best I have ever felt on the DA/SA versions after a 500 round break in, which a serious shooter will go through in one or two range trips.
The CZ75 is probably the most accurate handgun I have ever fired and is also one of the most comfortable.
What happened in '04? I've done a ton of reading up on the SIG P-series in the last year, and I've never seen a single other reference to "pre-'04" SIGs.
Ron Cohen resigned from Kimber and went over to Exeter, New Hampshire to Manage (then) SIG Arms. That was when everything changed...
+1Specifics please..
Beginning to get off topic at this point, but my experiences were hashed out in this thread from arf.com a few years back. If you've been researching this topic and haven't come across anything negative, I'm frankly a bit surprised.+1
Haven't heard of any negative changes to SIGs, unless we're talking about rails, which I have no problem with.
