I am looking to thin out my handgun collection to make room for some long guns. I have a Kimber Custom Eclipse II which shoots beautifully and I also have an H&K 45 USPC. I love the Kimber as a target gun and it is super accurate. I enjoy shooting target with the gun.

I was wondering whether there are target sights I can mount on my H&K and see how it shoots target. If it shoots decently with target sights, I would then sell the Kimber.

The H&K seems to shoot target well when I do my part but the sights are fixed and I do not really love them as I feel I can't line them up as well as the Kimber's sights.

Being that that the H&K is more rugged and for me more reliable (never jammed once, although the Kimber has been behaving rather nicely for the last 1500 rounds), I would like to have target sights that are rugged and can take some knocking around without getting knocked out of zero. My eyes are also getting older along with the rest of me, but I seem to do fine with the Kimber sights.

Any recommendations would be most welcome. Thanks.

I concur with 10-ring. Been nothing but happy with my MMC's on my USP. Target sights on a "C" (compact & designed for CCW) does sound odd though.

Great minds must think alike, I own the same two specimens .

On my USPC, nightsights, fixed, have served me just as well as those on the Kimber. You say you need something easy on the eyes, if you could get your hands on a set of these it may make the lineup easier.

Good luck whatever you decide!

Yeah, my sentiments exactly, adjustables just seem counter productive but the MMC's have been the most "tactical" adjustable sights (& available in a night sight version too!).

The Compact is not so compact in truth, so I think the addition of adjustable sights will not make a huge difference for carry purposes. Even though the barrel might be a tad shorter, the gun is pretty accurate, even for target. I just figure if I have one gun that can serve a carry purpose and a target purpose, I get the best of both worlds.

I logged onto the MMC website and the sights look good. I can't find pricing on the website. Anyone know what a set of night sights might run? I can call tomorrow and find out, but I am curious. Thanks.

I'm very interested also in MMC for my USP .45C, in order to raise the point of impact. My main question is about their nite site dots, and the white ring....is the white ring real bright and obvious ? How would the ring compare to Meprolight's ring in this regard? I'll probably go w/ a two-dot sight, but am waffling between orange and yellow. Any thoughts on colors?
