I'll be spending it on ammo myself.
Have enough guns(not really),but a gun is a nothing
without ammo for it.
All will be spent on tins of 5.45x39 surplus.
Right now I can only think of one caliber that is cheaper,
and that's .22LR.

I'm still trying to figure out which 1911 to get... although, it will probably go to pay off some credit card debt... :banghead:

I am looking and planning on a 1911. Either a Springfield or a Taurus.

We will wait and see if this comes true. If the stimulus is large enough my wife is owed a dinnig room table and chairs.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be eligible, but if I am I think I'll get a decent Leupold or Nikon scope for a bolt action rifle I'm planning to buy.

I read the news and immediately ordered 30,000 (six cases) of large pistol primers from Grafs. Next month I'll buy 32 pounds of powder (they pay the hazmat fee for 32 pounds or more). Get an extra five percent off for orders over $500 and shipping is always free. Whatta deal!!

Will we have to pay taxes on it?

You're kidding right? These are your taxes. It's called a rebate....they are giving your tax money back to you.

I still have not figured out how I would spend the rebate. Probably on ammo or reloading components.

The above plus a THR Receiver and whatever I can afford for it.

Or

An XCR in 5.56 with an eye to buying the 7.62 conversion in the future.

Decisions, decisions.

You never know. Let's wait until I actually get it.

We could put the refunds to good use. Keep reading.

In 2004 some guys in PA decided to build an indoor range for kids.

Yesterday I was thinking I might send a my refund to them. No promises guys, but I was thinking about it. (Okay, no laughing. You want to laugh - it's too late. I sent them $50 when they got started and when they built it I sent them enough for 2 new Anschutz target rifles. Now laugh.)

From page 10, dated 1//07, after working for 2 or 3 years:

"We had our FIRST OFFICIAL HIGH SCHOOL COMPETITION this week!!! What a sweet thing to behold it was. Finally, after almost 3 years of pounding, we've accomplished our goal! In fact, it's not just us, but we have students in 10 out of 11 schools in our county participating in organized high school riflery! Our community league shoots seem to be well received too. The very cool part is that we have many first time shooters coming by and we're getting a lot of youngsters crawling up on the benches to shoot at something that they can take home and hang on the Frigidaire! Ain't that what it's all about?"

And posted on 9/07:

"if we can get one more school district to get a rifle team , we would be the ONLY county in the ENTIRE USA to have every school district have a rifle team!"

I'm sure they could use a few more donations if anybody is up for it. :)

What an accomplishment.

I'm gonna pay down my Capital One credit card bill, the majority of the balance has come from guns and ammo purchases over the last year.:D I'll probably keep $150 of it for the next gun show, more bullets, primers, and whatever else I find for a good deal.

I'm putting mine straight into paying off debt.

Oh, by the way, they'll print more money from the Federal Reserve. As far as borrowing from foreign countries, there's no line to be drawn. They'll do that too. It's all mixed into the same pot of hocus pocus.

I'll stick it in the bank, for when they decide to "take it back" next year...

You think there is really such a thing as FREE money? It's a forced loan people wise up.

How are you going to Stimulate the economy

I am going to buy a Keltec P3at for summer carry.
I here they can be stimulating to shoot.:D
I will save the rest to supplement my unemployment when
the economy tanks and I get laid off.:banghead:
