Educate me about CZ pistols, which are the best etc, and if these are good prices on a few models:
75B $435 shipped
SP-01 $515 shipped
They seem to be really popular, and I got to shoot one recently and was impressed with how soft a shooter it was. I'd like to start carrying their products, but don't really know much about them.
Thanks!

Carrying, as in concealed... You'd want to look at the P01. It's NATO-approved and has a decocker. http://www.cz-usa.com/product_detail.php?id=28

The SP-01 is available in several configurations. There's a Tactical, which I believe comes with a decocker (mine did) like the P01. Mine has factory night (tritium) sights. Magazine capacity in 9mm is 19+1. This is my current favorite CZ.

Both the P01 and SP01 have a light rail.

The 75B is the pistol that started it all.

I currently own 4 CZ's... One SP01, one 75B and two P01's.

Check this place out, too:

I also own several. One of my daily carry guns is a PCR which is basically a PO1 without the light rail. I have 5 of the CZ's and have never had a single malfunction. I had to use their customer service department one time and it was top notch. I replaced a set of grips on a CZ and stripped the hole for the grip screw by cross threading it. I sent the gun to CZ to have it fixed and they sent me a brand new gun at no charge. Very pleasantly surprised.

Sorry, by carrying, I meant selling them. I'm a gun dealer, and given their popularity, I'd like to be able to bring them to you all at great pricing. It doesn't seem like there are many dealers on this site and some of the others I frequent selling them. I've got a call in to my local CZ rep to get setup as a direct dealer with CZ, so the pricing I get from them should be a bit better.

Not to mention, after shooting one, I need to own one (at least).
Something to keep all the Sigs company;)
Looks like I've got some reading to do.

At some of the larger gunshows, you'll find the 75 for under $400. As mentioned, most Academy stores in the state have them in stock. The P-01 is one of the finest carry pistols made, IMO. But, the real gem for me is the 75 B in .40 S&W. I started shooting .40 as soon as it arrived and went through most of the pistols made for it. None were overly impressive. Last year I finally got around to the 75 B in .40, although I nearly bought a 40 B when they were introduced. The 75 B is without a doubt the most accurate pistol I have ever fired in .40 S&W. One or two people believe it's the most accurate pistol they've ever fired, regardless of caliber. Including some fairly pricy 1911s. Now CZ has introduced the P-06 for those who love the P-01, but want their pistol chambered in .40 S&W.;)

I would keep a sub-compact like the P-01, PCR, P-06, and the 75 Compact depending on your customer base, and their preferences.

I would also carry some of the large frames ones like the SP-01, 75B and 75B SA. I don't like the SP-01 Tactical because I prefer cocked and locked that is offered from in the SP-01.

If you shooters are mostly competition shooters, they are likely to want their guns from the CZ Custom shop, or from Matt Mink.

I just got my CZ Custom Shop SP-01, and I am already looking at a Tactical Sport 40 for major Limited. :(

Second only to a 1911, I find CZ's the easiest pistols to shoot accurately. I have a SP01 with kadet kit, and a 2075 rami. I plan to get spares of each.

Hi, I like and will again carry My 2075 RAMI 9mm once I heal from a unexpected Motorcycle crash ( for now its the Colt Det. Special in .38 in My left pocket ). ..........WVleo

When not If

Yes I guess they are, but I had just got done cleaning My VTX1300C That I had all but finished to fit My needs 3 weeks before after spending My 50th birthday at East Coast Sturgis . So being it was My 16th wedding anniversery and I was taking the wife out to dinner as soon as She arrived home from work, I took the bike out to make sure it was all set for the next evenings Bike Night here in Martinsburg, Wv . Just a short ride down Rt.45 to Shepherdstown and back, maybe 18 miles total. Next time I saw My wife was in ICU LOL LOL. Seems a Honda Passport negleted to wait until I had driven past Him before He turned left onto His road . Ruined a good pair of jeans and a newer Hanes T-shirt too. LOL LOL . Last thing I remember was " O' Chit " as I laid it down after catching his rear bumper just with MY right saddlebag . At least I missed the sliding at 60MPH, but caught some roadrash as a reminder .
2 years to build up to were I wanted it , maybe 6 seconds with sliding and rolling and flipping to undue the work .
Got off with just broken collerbone, 5 broken ribs and bruised right lung. My Wife says I was lucky, I laugh and tell Her it was Skill LOL LOL ! It will be another 4 weeks before I can go back to carriing My RAMI .........WVleo

Please carry them in your shop. Around here no one carries them. Everyone of mine has been straight order. Like to support the locals, but they never have CZs. I have 4 now, and am looking for another

Well, if you're selling... I'd like to pick up an SP01 in single action as my next CZ. I'll need to track down an FFL that doesn't ream people first, though.

WVleo, wishing you a quick recovery brother.

So the pricepoint I need to figure out how to hit is about $400 on a 75B. Considering what I can get them for from the distributors, this should be doable direct from CZ. Right now (from distributors) the best I can do is $404 shipped on a 75B or $416 shipped if paid by credit card.

Let me run another price by you all, a CZ P01 with laser grips for $634 shipped?

More research to do...

Oh, and I think I need a pistol bayonette :D

CZs arethe best kept secret, or were, for years. They have the best ergonomics, are incredibly well made, accurate and reliable, and priced well, compaed to the national players. Used to be much cheaper, but demand raises prices.
Carry the popular sizes, the PO1 , the Compact steel frame, the PCR, and the standard CZ-75B. The RAMI 9mm poly and alloy framed are good, and the SPO1 is an up and coming pistola.
Have fun!

Can only speak of my experience and it will vary from others I am sure.

I agree they are reliable but not as accurate as some guns I have owned. They are not finished as nice internerally but I am sure that depends on the model. The trigger in DA is too long for my in most of the models I have tried. The trigger is nothing special and I am not a fan of it. Good materials and good design. Used to be great value for money but now only fair. They are all over $400 now and that puts them into competition with better guns like Glocks and Berettas.

Too heavy (CZ-75) Out dated and showing signs of being less usefull. A Glock 19 holds as many rounds as the CZ-75 yet weighs nothing and is smaller.
