5001 Celebration
Oh I want to be in on it! I'm a trained vocalist. I can sing the National Anthem along with the band!
Plus, my minor at college is journalism, so if you need help with that speech, fiVe, let me know.
Do any of you let your 642 wives on this thread? Still waiting to hear a female perspective.
bkastel - From one newbie to another, according to all the posts I've read so far, we've made the most brilliant choice of CCW possible. You don't think they're biased in any way, do you?
I don't have my license yet. Less than 2 weeks til my class. Then hopefully my delightful boyfriend won't worry so much about me. (Yeah, right, I know, it's a guy thing)
JFH - I've been to the cornerdcat site - thanks
jt1 - what is Bianchi? Would that speed strip be a rubber pre-loaded strip to carry 5 extra rounds in each? What about the round ones? Is that better for a revolver? Be nice, guys. Remember, total newbie here!
And just what "gr" rounds and ammo type should I be practicing with at the range? I tried wad-cutters and found them to be less punishing than regular FMJ. Any opinions? Oh wait! That was a silly question. I have a feeling you are all quite opinionated! Nonetheless, I appreciate your vast experience.
I leave you with another Jefferson quote from my beloved:
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms..disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one. - Thomas Jefferson quoting Cesare Beccaria, Criminologist in 1764.
