Two CZ's in one week

Bought a CZ 75 P-01 earlier in the week and yesterday found a new CZ 75 B for $419.99 brand new, so I bought that too. They're addictive!

I have 2 CZ 52s. The chromed one is my baby. I guess I got lucky as the trigger pull is sweet. Even though I love revolvers, if I could have only one handgun, it would be this. Sorry about the picture quality, though.

I joined the CZ Club a couple days ago. I don't have a picture yet, but visualize a P-01 in OD green. That's it.

Now I am feeling a need for a CZ 52, CZ 82, and maybe eventually a SP-01.

No pics. I have 3 now. CZ 75 Compact in 9mm (satin nickle), CZ 75 Compact in 40 S&W (polycoat) and a polycoat CZ 75 Kadet.
I like my CZ's.:D

I have a cz 75b stainless model. This is my first gun purchase, and I was not let down. It has shot over 1000 rounds so far flawlessly. Plus the look of the stainless just melts my heart! haha seriously.

If I am not mistaken, its a P-01 chambered in .40 S&W. To be released soon (not certain exactly when).

First part is correct- it's a P-01, but in .40S&W. Not sure why they changed the same.

Second part is slightly inaccurate- they're out now. One was sitting next to the P-01 I purchased. I think the gun shop likes the CZs, they don't sit around taking up space for a long time. Mine was the third P-01 he had gotten in that lasted less than 24 hrs before being sold. It makes me wonder why another gun shop said "we can't get them in." They just preferred selling what was in the case instead of ordering what will sell.

Are you sure it's not a CZ 40P, that P-01 Frame/CZ 40B slide "frankengun" that's available here and there? I'm not trying to be dense - but neither of CZ's websites mention the P-06. I'm just curious!

EDIT: Nevermind, I found a picture of one on Gunbroker. Odd that CZ doesn't mention the gun anywhere, though.

Nope, positive it was a P-06; it was printed on the slide.

And it is odd that it isn't on their site. I think it is in their 07 product catalog, but there's no entry for it online. Go figure.

IIRC, it's otherwise identical to a P-01, but with a 12 round capacity instead of 14.

It is strange. However, there is an image in their 2007 catalog of the "CZ 75 Compact .40," which (aside from the inscription on the slide, which says 75 Compact) is apparently the same gun. Maybe they just haven't got the name nailed down yet.

Cool gun, though.

Edit: Oh, and that one is on their website: http://www.cz-usa.com/product_detail.php?id=63

Actually that is not the P-06. That is the 75 Compact, which is a different animal. It has a steel frame & a manual safety, and a more pronounced beavertail than the P-01. The P-06 has an aluminum alloy frame, spring-loaded decocker & a shorter beavertail. As far as being called "new" on CZ's website, I looked a 75 Compact .40 at Gander Mountain a year ago. CZ is just a "little" slow in updating its website.

The PO6 is a new pistol, and more will be hitting the shores in about a month, according to CZ-USA. I want one. My PO1 is outstanding, and my favorite sidearm, but I can always enjoy a new one!

I think I’ve made a reasonably successful ‘first pass’ across the CZ semi-auto product line to date: a CZ83, a CZ75 SP-01, and a CZ75B .40S&W

So far so good – all as reliable and accurate as my 452s and 527; beautiful guns to look at as well.
