Don't know if this counts since its not too fancy but I've got an old milsurp CZ-70 in .32ACP.
I keep hearing that the magazine capacity is only 7 or 8 rounds but mine holds 9+1 and feeds reliably. Is this normal or did somebody spend time modifying the magazine before I got ahold of it?

Can I join?

A couple of weeks ago I purchased one of the few (999) Cold War Commemorative 75's. I love the Cyrillic writing.

Am I reading this right? Only 999 of the cold war commemorative model made? Wow, I have one, just got it a week ago. Pics;

I like it, shoots great, the SA trigger could be better,,,---WILL be better. Can't wait to try it at IPSC, IDPA shoots.

Got some extra mags coming, conversion kit for the 650 dillon, mold from lee, sizer for the lyman 450. Need a holster and mag holders.

Thanks!!!

I was going to get another 1911 (I currently have 13 of them), but saw the CZ with a flat trigger, so i couldn't say no :D

Can't believe you got it for $300! Man that was a steal. Hope you post a shooting report.

neither can I. the person said make an offer, so as usual, i low ball expecting for them to counter with a high number.

The gun gods are on my side because i always seem to get killer deals, such as trading a G19 for a NIB Springfield Compact, a TRP CHampion for $700, a Stainles Loaded for $499, a Wilson Combat Longslide for $1395, a Springfield Professional Operator for $1525, and a pair of Springfields (9mm hi-cap and .38 Super) that were worked over by the Custom Shop (~$2000 in work) for $1500. I guess it's Karma.

I recently picked up a full-size 75B w/ non-recurve trigger, so I'm parting ways with my P-01. The P-01 feels like it was custom made for my hand, but the stupid recurve trigger kills my finger after a while. I'm currently carrying a Kahr CW9 (blasphemy, I know), so the P-01 just doesn't have a place in my lineup now that I've got a full-size CZ.

But, before I cut her loose, I thought I'd share this photo with you guys. She really looks stunning with these cocobolo grips and a healthy dose of sunshine:

nice looking P01.
why don't you have the trigger switched out to a 75B/97 trigger.

finished my trigger work over the weekend. took out the FPB, added a SAO trigger, 13# and pre-B sear. I stoned the hammer and sear angles for neutral engagement. here's what i ended up with...

with the FPB and B sear this is what i got.

and i don't have photo's, but stock was something like 4Lbs 11oz.

I have got to get what I need to post pics onto this site from my cell phone and learn how to do it! A friend said it's just a matter of getting the right usb cable from t mobile and running it from phone to pc. He doesn't understand how little I know about such matters. But I really need to post a pic of my old OD green CZ 75B! If I have to, I'll pay one of the tech nerd youngsters to do it for me.

1SOW, amen to that brother. Unfortunately not many kids of that age in my area when I need help.

Here's my new(to me) Pre B that I got from Wideners. It's an old Czech police gun. It's one of the transition between Pre B, and B model CZ75's that look like a B model, but are actually Pre B's. I plan to(and am) mod it, and defiantly put a new finish on it. I've already added a 13lb mainspring, 16lb recoil spring is on the way(been wondering where it's at) CZ Custom Competition hammer and extended firing pin, CZ rubber grips, and I think that's it for now. I will also add some nicer sights to it.

Well I joined the club! Picked up this CZ 75 RSR Retro BNIB in a trade ( Beretta 92 Inox, I think I did well!)
Haven't shot it yet as I still can't get a solid number from anyone on how many of these were produced. I think I will when I get home next week though! Already in the market for a Phantom as well!

I'm looking at getting some of the Mec-Gar MGCZ7516B 16-round magazines to use in my SP-01 Tactical. Does anyone have any recommendations for rubber base pads to use with these? I saw somewhere that Beretta 92 magazine base pads will work.

^ I would order some from CZ Custom. I assume one of these would work with a Mec-Gar magazine.(which I have no experience with)

You might call and ask them. CZ Custom is a great place to buy from, and has very good customer service. Everytime I've ordered from them in the plast couple of weeks I get my stuff in 2 business days, and that's going from AZ to SC.

Count me a new member as I just bought today a CZ75 sp-01 tactical, I caught on sale for $100.00 off regular price at Academy Sports. Can't wait till tomorrow to check it out at the range. Had checked out a p-06 the other day, and was impressed. The difference in the two guns is the sp-01 is steel frame and 12 shot capacity and weighs 2.4 lbs. The p-06 is light alloy frame and 10 shot capacity and lighter at 1.8 lbs. plus it was about 40.00 more than the sp-01 that I got on sale. All the forum reviews about CZ guns convinced me about the quality and accuracy of CZ guns. Hope I will be happy with my new gun.
