The hammer was spurred, and I believe it doesn't have a firing pin block (though I am the furthest thing from what you would call a gunsmith. ) . I bought it used, so the slide release may have came from the original owner, though it is one of the last pre-B's: It reads "A90" behind the ejection port and the serial number is in the 89XX range, so it may very well have some transition parts.Hawthorne2k, that's an interesting "original" CZ-75 as it has the new style slide release. I also note that the dust cover recess cut is like the 75B and the trigger isn't tapered like the earlier pistols. Does it have any other 75B features such as the firing pin block? I wonder if there were transition CZ-75's that combined features of the original with those of the as yet unreleased 75B? What style was the original hammer on your pistol.... spur or rowel? While your picture isn't clear, the slide markings seem to be slightly different too.
I did a comparison of my 1981 original with a new 2009 75B that you can use to note the differences between yours and the earlier originals. The thread is here: http://www.czforumsite.info/index.php?topic=25803.0
Please look yours over and tell us about the differences. It should be interesting.
